It's intense & bright & I have to say I really like it. But what does it mean for kids & babies bedrooms & decor?
Ultra Violet is a very full on colour, & immediately makes me think of the galaxy, wizards, & of course mermaids.
So how do we use this bold shade of purple in our kids bedrooms or nurseries?Personally, I think you'd need to be brave to go nuts with it!
Use it sparingly as a feature pop of colour, also as colour as inspiration & use different lighter shades & tones of it.
Combine it with other colours that combine nicely.
After doing some looking around for ultra violet inspiration, I have to say, purple is quite the girls colour. Discovering ultra violet in their bedrooms was a breeze, even though the colour may not be as intense as pantones 2018 colour, finding variations was easy.
Not so much for the boys, to be honest, ultra violet or any versions of it were almost non existent.
As you can see it's fairly easy to incorporate purple or ultra violet as a room colour, or just adding some gorgeous furniture or decor. just keep in mind if you want add pantones colour of the year everything doesn't have to match, be exact or be that exact shade. use the colour as you will enjoy it & have fun.
